Introduction

These Community Guidelines (the "Guidelines") apply to all users of the Log Social, LLC mobile application and website (collectively, the "Services") and are incorporated by reference into the Log Social, LLC Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with these Guidelines. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. Log Social, LLC operates a social discovery platform where users capture, share, and discover real-world experiences including restaurants, activities, and travel destinations. The integrity of that platform depends on every user contributing honestly and respectfully. These Guidelines exist to protect users, protect the platform, and ensure that the recommendations and experiences shared on the Services remain trustworthy. Log Social, LLC reserves the right to remove content, restrict features, or suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Guidelines, at our sole discretion and without prior notice or liability. Violation of these Guidelines may also constitute a violation of the Terms of Service and applicable law.

1.Authentic Reviews and Recommendations

The Services are designed to surface genuine, first-hand recommendations from people you trust. The integrity of that system depends on every review and rating being honest. You agree that you will not: Post any review, rating, or recommendation that does not reflect your genuine, personal, first-hand experience with the business, place, or activity being reviewed; Post any fake, fabricated, AI-generated, or otherwise inauthentic review or rating; Post a review of a business for which you are, or have recently been, an owner, employee, officer, director, contractor, or agent — or a review of an immediate family member's business — without clear and conspicuous disclosure of that relationship within the review itself; Accept or offer payment, gifts, discounts, free products or services, or any other thing of value in exchange for posting, altering, or refraining from posting a review, without clear and conspicuous disclosure of that material connection in the review; Trade reviews, ratings, or follows with another user on any quid-pro-quo basis; Artificially inflate or deflate any rating or ranking through coordinated activity, sock-puppet accounts, click farms, or any other manipulation technique; or Create, purchase, or use fake social-media indicators, including fake followers, likes, or shares, in connection with the Services. These rules are designed to comply with the FTC Trade Regulation Rule on the Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials (16 CFR Part 465, effective October 21, 2024) and the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255). Violations may be referred to the Federal Trade Commission or other applicable regulatory authorities.

2.Respectful Conduct — No Harassment or Hate Speech

You agree that you will not post content or engage in conduct that: Harasses, threatens, intimidates, bullies, stalks, or demeans any individual or group; Constitutes hate speech, defined as content that attacks or degrades a person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law; Encourages, incites, or glorifies violence against any person or group; Reveals or threatens to reveal another person's private information without their consent, including contact information, home address, financial information, or physical whereabouts (commonly known as "doxxing"); or Uses identifiable information about another user or individual in a harmful, mean-spirited, or malicious context.

3.Accuracy and Honest Representation

Because Log is a recommendations platform, accuracy matters. You agree that you will not: Post content that is knowingly false, misleading, or materially inaccurate, including false factual claims about any business, place, activity, or person; Impersonate any individual, business, organization, or other entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; or Misrepresent your connection to, experience with, or ownership interest in any business or place you review or recommend.

5.No Spam, Unsolicited Promotion, or Manipulation

You agree that you will not: Post repetitive, low-quality, or off-topic content that does not contribute genuine value to the Services; Use the Services to promote products, services, or businesses in a deceptive or undisclosed manner; Post unsolicited advertising, chain messages, pyramid schemes, or bulk commercial messaging; or Use bots, automated scripts, scrapers, or other automated tools to post content, inflate engagement metrics, or extract data from the Services.

6.No Illegal Activity or Harmful Content

You agree that you will not post content or engage in conduct that: Promotes, facilitates, or encourages any illegal activity under applicable local, state, federal, or international law; Is obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, or contains gratuitous violence or gore; Solicits, facilitates, or depicts the purchase, sale, or distribution of controlled substances, illegal weapons, or other prohibited items; Glorifies, encourages, normalizes, or makes light of self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders; or Contains any sexual content involving minors in any form, under any circumstances. This prohibition is absolute and violations will be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.

7.Intellectual Property

You agree that you will not: Post content that infringes any third party's copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights; Upload photographs, videos, or other media that you did not create yourself or do not have explicit permission to share; or Use the Log name, logo, or other intellectual property without Log Social, LLC's prior written consent. If you believe content on the Services infringes your intellectual property rights, please submit a notice to explore@logsocial.app in accordance with the DMCA procedure described in the Terms of Service.

8.Protection of Minors

Log Social, LLC takes the safety of minors seriously. You agree that you will not: Post any content that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or facilitates harm to any person under the age of 18; Use the Services to contact, solicit, or communicate with minors in any inappropriate manner; or Attempt to obtain personal information from any minor through the Services. Log Social, LLC will immediately terminate accounts associated with violations of this section and will report such violations to NCMEC and applicable law enforcement authorities.

9.Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or conduct you believe violates these Guidelines, please report it by: Using the in-app reporting feature on any post or profile; or Emailing explore@logsocial.app with a description of the content and its location within the Services. Log Social, LLC will review reports in good faith and take action where appropriate. We are not obligated to take any particular action in response to any report, and our moderation decisions are made at our sole discretion.

10.Enforcement

Log Social, LLC reserves the right to take any of the following actions in response to a violation of these Guidelines, without prior notice or liability: Remove or hide any content that violates these Guidelines; Issue a warning to the account responsible; Temporarily restrict or suspend the account; Permanently terminate the account and bar re-registration; or Report the conduct to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required or appropriate. Repeated or severe violations — including violations of Section 6 (illegal content or harmful content), Section 8 (protection of minors), threats of violence, and coordinated harassment campaigns — will result in immediate permanent account termination. Even after account termination, these Guidelines and the Terms of Service remain enforceable. Log Social, LLC reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies for violations that cause harm to users, third parties, or the platform.

11.Disclaimer

These Guidelines are not exhaustive. Log Social, LLC reserves the right to remove content or restrict accounts for conduct that, while not expressly listed above, is determined to be inconsistent with the values and purposes of the platform or harmful to users or third parties. We will continue to update these Guidelines as the Services grow and evolve.
